Our Privacy Policy prohibits the release of customer or account information without permission from the customer, except under limited circumstances; such as when required by a court within The Republic of Cameroon, to comply with the court order. The applicable court must have jurisdiction over the location and legal process within Cameroon so as to properly serve ImbiSoft a Criminal subpoena.

ImbiSoft is not liable to any criminal activities conducted by users or a customer using our services or software. We are equally not liable to any claims resulting from resources or content provided by a client in correspondence to building a website, hosting or any related IT service be it directly or indirectly.

Furthermore, we reserve the right to terminate any account, should we realise or suspect that it is used in conducting unlawful actions, as indicated by local laws within Cameroon.

If you seek the identity or account information of an ImbiSoft customer in connection with a criminal activity, and you are a member of the law enforcement community, you must fax, mail, or serve ImbiSoft with a valid subpoena from a court having jurisdiction over the issue.

Background Documentation

ImbiSoft reserves the right to request a copy of the complaint and any supporting documentation that demonstrates how the ImbiSoft customer’s information is related to the pending litigation and the underlying subpoena.

Notice to Customer and Response Time

Upon receipt of a valid criminal subpoena, unless the circumstances or subpoena warrant otherwise, ImbiSoft may promptly notify the customer whose information is sought via e-mail, phone or mail. If the circumstances do not amount to an emergency, ImbiSoft may not immediately produce the customer’s information sought by the subpoena and may provide the customer an opportunity to move to challenge the subpoena in court. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee by charging the customer’s account or the applicant.

Policy Regarding Email

Except as required by an order in accordance with Criminal Laws. issued by a court of competent jurisdiction, ImbiSoft will not produce the content of e-mail or other electronic communications sent to the customer. Whether or not ImbiSoft gives its customer advance notice of any such disclosure will be governed by the terms of the Order or data laws.

Modification of Policy

ImbiSoft reserves the right to modify this policy at any time in its sole discretion.
